1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how All Pride, No Ego LLC ("All Pride, No Ego," "we," "us," or "our"), a Georgia limited liability company, handles personal information in connection with leagueofradicalkindness.com, the League of Radical Kindness community ("LORK"), and our related memberships, events, and services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. This includes your name, email address, and any profile details, posts, comments, or messages you choose to share in the Community. If you contact us, we keep the contents of that correspondence. Payment information. When you purchase a membership, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers ourselves. We receive limited information such as the last four digits of your card, the card type, your billing country, and whether a payment succeeded or failed. Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our platform providers may collect technical and usage data, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages and content you view, and how you interact with the Community. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6.
Information from third parties. If you join or log in through a third-party platform we use, such as our community platform, we may receive account information from that platform consistent with its settings and your permissions.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including your account and membership.
- Process payments, renewals, and cancellations.
- Communicate with you about your account, your membership, events, updates, and Community matters.
- Send you marketing and newsletters where you have not opted out, and which you can opt out of at any time.
- Understand how the Community is used so we can improve it.
- Keep the Services secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it. We share it only in these situations:
- With service providers who help us run the Services, including Circle (our community platform), Stripe (our payment processor), and GoHighLevel and ProFlow (our email and customer relationship management tools). They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- With other members, to the extent you choose to share content, a profile, or messages inside the Community. Anything you post in shared Community spaces can be seen by other members.
- For legal reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- In a business transfer, if All Pride, No Ego is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will seek to ensure your information remains protected and will notify you of any change in control or in how your information is handled.
5. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor that is contractually required to protect your information and that adheres to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your use of payment features may also be subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.
6. Cookies and tracking
We and our platform providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and understand usage. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the Services may not work properly if you disable certain cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies or pixels to track you across other websites for advertising. 7. Your choices and rights
Everyone. You may access or update your account information, opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us, and ask us to delete your account. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of their personal information. If you are located there, you may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After you close your account, we retain information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes, to resolve disputes, and to comply with legal and tax obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, and we work with platform providers that do the same. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and contact us promptly if you suspect a problem with your account.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
